Programs of the Pathways Foundation

Stephen Moss, a diverse and well-established executive, possesses years of experience in business consulting, law, and psychology. Currently, he serves as managing partner and chairman at corporate advisory and private equity investment firm Eaton Capital Partners in Sydney, Australia, and as chairman of WDScott Ltd., an international management consultancy firm, based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to his professional work, Dr. Stephen Moss was a founding director of the Pathways Foundation charity.

Pathways is a harm prevention charity based in Australia. The Pathways Foundation helps adolescents transition into adulthood through introducing appropriate "rights of passage". Founded in 2002 as a nonprofit organization, the original idea for the foundation stemmed from the Australian and New Zealand Men’s Leadership Gathering in 1995. The foundation’s core programs include a Pathways to Manhood program for boys 13-15 years old and a Pathways into Womanhood program for girls 12-15 years old.

In addition to the core Pathways programs, the Pathways Foundation has developed other complementary programs over the years. These include a leadership training initiative for adults as well as Returning Young Men and Returning Young Women programs that allow those who participated in the core programs to strengthen their experiences. Moreover, the foundation also hosts the YoungStars program, a father and son weekend getaway, and provides speakers for school and community talks.

Dr Moss retired as Chairman in 2012 after 10 years with the board of Pathways Foundation. He remains a staunch supporter of the work of Pathways in the community.
